Since meditation is basically lifting weights with your brain, why do i keep seeing such a difference in population between them ? I never ever saw anyone uninteresting, judgmental or narcissistic in a MBSR course, yet everytime i hit the gym it feels like i've been dropped in a pool of the lowest denominator.

I don't get. They both require dedication and they both show results after a distinct amount of practice of time, yet the population is immensely different.
