>>14614328>>14614410The very idea of reducing everything to war dialectics is also part of the narrative. Notice how now every attack on Russia is labeled as a "sanction," as if they were all a direct consequence of what's happening right now.
Last year, long before this "invasion," Russian citizens were already effectively banned from traveling to western countries. Most countries demanded every traveler to be vaccinated, yet vaccinated Russian citizens weren't recognized as such because the Sputnik vaccine hadn't been approved outside of Russia.
Sputnik wasn't approved because every western regulatory agency demanded exhaustive testing, a testing that was completely omitted for American vaccines. Pfizer (US corporation) or Moderna (US corporation) simply sworn that their vaccines were 99.9% effective, and they were immediately approved. Today half the people in any hospital were vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna, the vaccine didn't protect them, because the "99.9%" was a complete lie.
The only reason why Sputnik wasn't approved is because Russia wasn't allowed to develop a vaccine. Russian citizens were punished, not because of a war, but because their government refused to give thousands of millions of dollars to American corporations like every other country. Had this happened now, all of western media would pretend it was yet another "sanction" because of the evil "invasion." But since it happened before the war, we're simply supposed to act like it didn't happen.
