I think Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd era was mostly crap. I'm glad they sacked him and got David Gilmour instead.
I liked Interstellar. Even that 'love is a powerful force' stuff, it reminded me of The Void Which Binds from the Hyperion Cantos.
There's absolutely life out there, but we'll never have contact with it, and we'll never leave Earth.
I really hope we're going to be able to employ terraforming techniques here on Earth to deal with all the biogeochemical cycles we messed up, but I seriously doubt we'll ever get there.
Planescape: Torment is the best game I've ever played, Tides of Numenera was mostly fine but calling it a Torment spiritual sequel is an insult to the original game.
All Frank Herbert's Dune novels are good, some more than others, but Lynch's movie and the Leto II miniseries sucked hard.
The Dark Tower is little more than fanfiction, but Roland is a pretty good character.
But most importantly, Feanor did nothing wrong!
