However these are not the best to learn for WWIII. Maybe Spanish, since you are in the US, and there will be race riots, and you might be able to use Spanish for survival.
If you want to survive WWIII, Chinese Mandarin and Russian are the best to learn. Or to switch sides.
Japanese if you want entertainment. There will be long periods of nothing, and Manga and Anime in the original language will help you from not going insane.
Also Korean, Ukrainian, and Arabic if you are generally interested in the war and the fronts that will pop up that aren't major powers. Maybe Hindi as well.
.....If you read old novels, French, German, and Russian will keep you entertained like Japanese does when the power goes out for weeks or you have to hide in a hole and needs to stay sane to pass the time. Latin also has old works in Neo Latin that are not translated. There is a whole secret literature in Neo Latin from the 1400s to 1700s no one reads. It's most of Western literature from that period. Also helps you learn other languages.
I love Celtic languages, but too few speakers to be useful. Unless you have a hobby related to it, avoid Klingon, the Game of thrones language, or Esperanto.
