>>14684263You have so much more value than you think you do. What you're experiencing is ego death. In the grand scheme of things, does any of this matter, really? No, not really; but that doesn't diminish from your individual experience. What is life, though, exactly? The last few years of my life I had to wrestle with the same existential ideals and unfortunately swallowing all the red pills all at once. Having the freedom to do whatever you want and going off primal instinct isn't as based as one might seem. You lack the right type of spirit, anon; you need the Holy Spirit.
We, as humans, are inherently wicked. It's in our DNA to do what is "natural", but what's "natural" is often detrimental to our well being. Christ preached against sin, not only because it is offensive to God, but it's an offense to ourselves. Think of the countless families destroyed because either partner couldn't resist the urge of having an affair. The wicked webs we weave from one seemingly insignificant white lie. Guess where our choices send us?
Enter Jesus Christ
God had to clothe Himself in humanity to better understand us and offer a path to sanctify us through the blood atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross so we may enter the kingdom of Heaven. Believing that fact alone causes you start questioning how our own sins start to negatively impact our world view and our lives; a process called repentance. The Bible teaches us that our sin is killing us more than we kill each other and that those choices eventually damn us when we die. That's why the cross is so necessary! Hell is the default setting and the acceptance of His sacrifice is, literally, the only thing good enough for us to do to enter His kingdom.
I agree with you more than you can imagine. This world is wicked and irredeemable but believe me when I say, that Jesus Christ will return a lot sooner than you think.
