>>14735358idk probably a pen that writes or draws whatever u dictate. it's an underwhelming option but we're supposed to have some sort of visual display for our item and there's no fucking way i'm drawing or modeling anything so this will allow me to just show a normal pen. plus the style in which we write is supposed to be as if ur selling the item so i can pretend it's actually useful by mentioning kanj that's difficult to write or recall

well ur a boomer as well no?

>>14735409it doesn't but it's the best option available by a mile
the short rundown is that it's best for me to spread out my classes as evenly as possible, but i need to be a "full time" student when i study abroad which is classified as taking 4 classes or more. since i have 7 left, it's in my best interest to take 3 classes next semester
it's an obvious choice to take japanese 5 and japanese linguistics also happens to be a perfect storm of one of my primary interests, ideal lecture time, and my favorite professor thus far.
the only other class being offered that i'm qualified for next semester is "readings/culture" which is the opposite scenario of linguistics. my understanding is that it's basically just a guided reading class which sounds abysmally boring, it has 3 9 am lectures a week, and i don't so much care for the professor teaching it. the only other option i'm technically qualified for is a second independent study, but i'm not even sure if my advisor would clear me doing another one back to back
there is, however, a translation course being held next semester that just so happens to be taught by my advisor and would slot perfectly into me schedule as far as lecture times. the issue is that the prerequisite is japanese 5, but i'm hoping now that i'm in upper division courses and this particular professor has seen me excel in the independent study that she might waive the requirement if i talk about how much i'd like to take the class before graduating
