Kinda shit desu.

I've been to one named after a 'route' and the only good thing was the meat. Everything else was mediocre or bad. The milk shake was exceptionally bad and obviously made from powder.

The meals are way too large for the average person so they just throw it all away.

the problem you're having is that the actually good burger places in the us tend to be old family owned type of places, not chains

not to say chains can't be good, but they tend to cost more too

It varies, of course there are many foreign foods restaurants that arent fast food like chinese, italian and japanese food restaurants that vary but go from decent to really good. As for the typical food theres the local food, in my state there is a lot of seafood but also a lot of fried tortilla dishes, that usually have beans or spicy sauces. And theres also the migrants restaurants like ching chong food but also cuban food, lebanese food and argentinian or brazilean food.
