The 'genre' of what zoomers and weebs collectively refer to as "isekai" is fascinating as a concept in which the protagonist is transported into a world of which he has no knowledge or experience. Objectively, the best isekai story is Bröderna Lejonhjärta, but that essentially just turns into a classic fantasy adventure. The opportunity to explore how the protag experiences this other world through other people who essentially excercise complete control over him as he has no knowledge of the world's peoples, culture, structure or politics making him a perfect canditate to be manipulated and serves like an allegory to living in Plato's cave.
