>>14758280I use virtualbox personally. But yeah that indexing stuff is actually insane, even with an ssd. I dont know how they get away with it but it is a lot better on linux ime although it does have a totally different filesystem you'll have to get used to as well
Also remember that linux comes in families. So the only real difference between lubuntu or kubuntu, say, are the skins. But if you go from the ubuntu family to something like fedora then some of the commands will be different so keep that in mind
