The way he'd surreptitiously hide around the dark, blind spot corners as an experienced killer or even show intimidate you standing in the wide open. Especially when he would reach the hall and insidiously petrify you in a cold glare through the huge window. Personally the game should have ended there and 4 was more of a prequel but I guess the guy really had something going on.
