Is it worth it/too late to start in IT field?

Guys, is it worth it to roll into the IT field in your mid-20s? Is it too late?
I have a useless degree and working with customer pisses me off.
What are the chances that it will work out, what are the things you can recommend to do?
Genuine advice needed.

if you do try this seek out internship opportunities while you're studying as they'll count toward "Work Experience" and get your foot in the door at more reputable companies
