Instead of sitting around and arguing about political drama every day, we need to learn simple survival basics in the woods, just enough to sustain our lives. The world is already crumbling apart, you have to realize, that sooner or later things will reach a critical boiling point and we have to be prepared for that and escape to the woods.
Get a few Bushcraft tools and hike around your countryside, eventually you will find a hidden spot that is hard to trace and where nobody can find you. Set a camp/shelter or a small cabin there. Bonus points if you are close to a river, but don't set it too close, since all river spots are visited by people, even if you think they are not. 1-2km away from the river would be perfect.
And finally, try to learn what wild edibles you can eat. Of course, you can stock up on food from the store, (canned food, rice, flour, etc.. they can last really long) but regardless, you need to have good knowledge of the plant species and especially mushrooms. Hunting would probably be really hard for most people, but you can always rely on fishing. Most plants are edible and safe to eat anyway, some of them are even considered "superfood".
