I despise when someone posts an image of some stupid anime loli looking smug that's terabytes worth of pixels just for excessive crispiness. I become exasperated every time some dumb cat gif that lasts 0.2 milliseconds asks to waste bandwidth because the maker couldn't figure out how to not make a gif under 300 gigabytes. Ever since I knew that .jpg compresses images to a lower quality, I've used it for every image that doesn't need it. Your stupid memes should not be in .png format. You suck at compressing the movies you are illegally sharing and now I have to download 50% more than I should. Nobody should care about quality. Quantity is quality and I need to store as much as possible. At this time, I have taken to saving the thumbnail of images shared on 4chan that don't need me to open them to see them and get the point. If anyone has any tips on decreasing file size, please share them. Remember to recycle.
