Everyone is completely disincentivised to work because they know that the government is going to take half of their income anyway, many of them are already on their way to 4 or 3 day work weeks, the only countries with decent per capita GDP is tax havens like Ireland or Switzerland. US, Canada and Australia all destroy most EU countries when it comes to GDP per capita, because like I said everyone is so lazy to work and the government totally discourages growth.
So the whole anti-car pro bike pro pedestrian planning or europeans totally makes sense in the long run, they want people to not move around and drive around because at the end of the day they don't want the people to be free, they want them lazy and subservient like they are now, they want them totally dependent on the state like they are now.
Europe is honestly so deep in their brain drain, losing so much talent and intelligence to the US that there's honestly no turning back, so becoming a carless society where everyone smokes weed and walks around parks all day sipping s@i lattes is the best thing for them
