A lot of countries can just almost get by from trading supplies and goods but this potentially puts your country into more debt and as well you have to make concessions into the liberal political system. Well, I don't know what to call it I am sure it's not always that simple. Trading can be quite complex I imagine.
I remember watching this documentary that said that Hitler wasn't very knowledgeable about economics and didn't really have the most expertise or experience in the field. America doesn't differ that widely from Germany necessarily but they seem to have been a bit smart overall in some of their choices it seems like, or maybe just pragmatic.
