Do you think that, at some point in our life, a lot of people begin to mistake stress with excitement?
Recently, I have been a witness to a common group of elementary, maybe early middle school kids, traveling with me in a tram. They had their banter and stuff, but what struck me the most was how purely excited they were for their surroundings. They seemed to enjoy talking about anything, fast and livid, if they didn't had anything in their brains to open their mouths about, they just started saying names of buildings or read things out loud from behind the window and another kid would quickly follow it up with a conversation starter.
And there was I, slightly nostalgic about when was my last time I had such a pure emotion inside of me, while simultaneously being tired and panicky about what my uni is going to test me with today. I feel like things that should make people feel thrilled and excited just make me stressful, almost if I'm living life wrong way. Are you living life the right way?
How do you even fix such state of mind?
