People keep recommending My Hero Academia, obviously as the generic dude anime of current date and probably because OPM or Mob Psycho 100 hasn't come back.

Any other good, recent guy anime to watch? Doesn't have to be all about fighting. Honestly gets sickening how that's all they need to sell to guys.

Been watching anime for a while now(25) so a lot of these rehashed ideas get old. Made in Abyss also has my interest for essentially being an anime version of the game Doukutsu Monogatari, one of the best indie games in history

just watched the movie "Kimi no Na wa." it was really good and I ended up sobbing towards the end, making it the second movie to ever make me cry. (the first being The Wind Rises). I'm considering reading the Elfen Lied manga again, because I've always considered it to be my favorite manga, but it's been so long since I've read it I may not like it as much anymore.
