I don't know if the internet is at fault, but it seems that it is.
It was easier to convince people to meet up, to go out. I miss having big family gatherings as in the pre-internet, especially pre-corona times.
It is sad. The glowing screen is sapping away at the human spirit. When the internet was new, people were only using it for a few hours. Even on 4chan, people were just a few hours on it and then lived the rest of their lives. People had more creativity in the day because the outside world still existed and was still interesting.
