Buddhism is weak in that it doesn't embrace ancestor worship. They Gods of great renown were mortal men that became Gods through heroic deeds and became worshipped. Hinduism rightfully recognizes that men and women need strong Gods to look up to and strive to become like. Buddhism is a religion for the peasant class to accept their lowly place in life.
