Yesterday Windows fucked up my laptop with a quality update that broke my graphics drivers for good just when I finished a project. Luckly I managed to save the project and send it but now I have to reconfigure Windows again after a new installation

Ugghh my laptop has some amd vega graphics along with another amd graphics but the drivers is like one package for both (AIO or something)
The thing is, after "the update" the driver kept failing as in after logging in screen I will have a black screen
I got around by going safe mode, killing the driver then restarting and it will normally start again but I just cant do this every single time so I decided to reinstall. I think I tried everything I could to prevent reinstallation but nothing worked and I also lost 2 hours

To be fair yesterday I almost had a panic attack when after restarting I got the black screen and my project wasn't sent since I spent 4-5 hours working on it AND it was finished I just had to email it. Thankfully safe mode did the job

I already managed to free up ram and space from debloating this piece of shit
To be fair I thought it will be a hassle but I guess the scripts matured and now they focus on Win 11 instead of 10

This shit is why I don't allow windows to update itself. Windows does not need the 5 updates per week it tries pushing anyway. That is just one team of indians working at microsoft trying to justify their inflated salaries. Looks guys, we are "working" on this!

Sadly didn't gave enough attention to my laptop as I do with my pc and updates were half-way turned off by some scripts I assume.
On PC they're turned off from group policy and never had a problem

Yeah I'm sticking with 10 for now
I wanted to give their Edge a try and use it but holy shit the right click menu takes the whole fucking screen so I went back to sweet Chromium

Mmmmhhh from my experience I would say it's faster than Firefox(ex-firefox user until I got sick of how slow it was) and much cleaner than Chrome and lacks some Chrome features.
If you want full tin-foil there's Ungoogled Chromium both can be downloaded from here https://chromium.woolyss.com/
I personally love Chromium as it is I won't switch to any other browser even if has chromium, I just like how clean it is.

Yeah, Firefox is slower but uses less RAM and is more oriented towards privacy while Chrome is faster but uses a lot of RAM and knows literally everything you do and collects all the data it can

I mean Chromium is not really that connected as Chrome is and if you want privacy you can go Ungoogled chromium. I personally like it this way. Firefox is too slow for me and eats A LOT of ram if you have tabs like youtube. On top of this I never get annoying updates. I update whenever I want since I have to download the installer and run it over if I want a new version. Chromium doesn't do it by default and I usually stay on older version and do updates every 2 months or something like that
