Of course it has
We are now in a stage of constant bickering.
But we can get over that. In the end anonymity is a great tool. I believe the culture will naturally move past this phase 4chan and imageboards are in. The apex of this phase was the constant bickering that the deletion of /qa/ brought. Both sides wanted to absolutely dominate each other, and you can see where that brought us.
You make your content. People give you shit for that. They are just being irrational. You should not hate them for that. Forgive them because it has to start somewhere. Otherwise we can just go further and further into the depths of constand bickering. If you can not be above their shit, they can not realise that they are in the wrong.
Boards come and go. I have seen dozens of boards die over the past ten years. It is like you lose the house over your head. Of course it makes you sad, but in the end there is always a replacement you can find or make.
For /bant/ to improve we have to get past this stage of bickering. It is difficult, it requires a lot of intelligence. I don't think I can do it myself, I can only see what is the problem. I have participated in this bickering too, and been too distracted with it. There has been no progress for me with anything that I wanted to do back in October. And of course, I am just as guilty of making the situation worse, but it is just what I hold to be the best to do at the situation.
