I'm pretty fucking tall and when I was a kid in high school there was this really tall woman who rode the same bus as I did every day. It kind of surprised me, because I was 6'3" and used to being taller than most adults including my own parents. She was probably around 6'2"-ish, and she always wore flat shoes. Kind of lanky and had an had an autistic look on her face.

I think she's the reason I almost instinctively check a woman's shoes when I meet them because I've seen heels that can bump a womanlet over the 6' mark.
My older sister is 6'1", but she insists she's 5'11" because my dad is just barely 6' and she's clearly taller than him.

I kinda wish Granblue Fantasy did more with it's ship/pirate aesthetic. There's a lot of cool boat scenes but it gets too deep into the generic JRPG plotlines and giant monsters.

There's Dai Dark, but it's just a mediocre shounen
One of the films in Memories 1995 is pretty good, but not about pirates, I think you'd also know about it
There's also Suisei no Gargantia, it's not even in space, and again, you probably knew about it

Gargantia was fun, even if it had some slow episodes. I feel like there was some specific movie it got most of its plot off of but I honestly can't name it. I'm a big fan of ocean saga things, so it really pushed all the right buttons. I kind of didn't like how the main mecha was very obviously toy-style, but at least he had Sugita's soothing voice.

Haven't watched single one of them, don't watch anime..... i haven't even watched "normie" animes like naruto or bleach. I would even watch normal pirate/sea anime (not like one piece), There isn't what I'm looking for i suppose. Have you played obra dinn? I really liked it because of how interesting characters were, there were different ranks/roles, ship itself was very interesting. one rogue trader book also talks about ranks on spaceship and found it really cool

Granblue's season two has one really great episode where an imperial fleet bombards a civilian settlement in retribution for firing on them in preemptive defence, but 60% of the episode is lesbian swashbuckling. The original is average in the first place, tho it improves somewhat as it goes along. But I never managed to connect with the protagonist's emotional trouble no matter what. Still, I have a soft spot for it since it was one of the first anime I watched.
The sequel (there's only one as far as I know) is even worse, but more romantic/erotic if you're into that. Not to mention that it's a soft reboot that is nothing like what was promised at the end of the first series.
