If an alien species came to Earth there is no way they would want to make contact with us. In fact, their response would probably, logically be exactly as we: floating around from a distance and keeping tabs on us, a general non-interference policy, and perhaps some kind of breeding program to try to hybridize humans to modify our behavior in positive ways.

You need to take a step back and think of humans dispassionately, in terms of the following objectively negative behaviors which a spacefaring species who had reached technology without destroying itself would not engage in and would view with at least something akin to the emotion we know as hostility:

>The eating of meat and other animal products. This likely would horrify a civilized spacefaring species
>Capitalism. The idea that people have to pay to live on the Earth. The idea that everyone needs to compete with one another rather than cooperate with one another. The idea that so little can be hoarded by so many with the aid of a government's violent, statist "priate" property laws
>War
