Nothing will happen to the planet that is not within God's plan or will, either He is steering humans to cause any environmental damage, or He simply foreknew that we'd ruin the planet without His intervention so He allows us to a point and then He intervenes and destroys it Himself
But either way, the planet is disposable and we can't do anything that would go against His plans for it.

Most people who are against the current ideo of environmentalism (READ: Human Carbon Tax control system) understand that all this BS about "Climate Change" revolving around Humans or Cow Farts leaves out the most fundamental factor to Climate Change, the Sun.

So, since they're enforcing it so selectively, holding a knife to the west's throat, does that make any sense at all?

And when you really dive deep into this subject you find out things, things like the poles shifting, things like that affecting the earth's electromagnetic field, things like how that affects how space cosmic weather and solar rays affect the earth, and how things like that aren't anything mankind can do jack diddly squat about.
