So the background is that Nana is a woman in her thirties (presumably) who had wished to become an idol for a long time but no one really cared about her and she only grew older and weaker. She makes it in the end of course and the whole old woman pretending to be young aspect is seemingly played for laughs, but there's one fan theory about how the producer took her in because he took pity on her more than anything. And then her song is sadder than it seems if you pay attention to the lyrics, as in the full version she keeps mentioning the drugs she's taking and there's also the part where she says "Hey Producer, if you saw what Nana really looked like would you still love her?" So with all that in mind her song becomes one about an insecure and depressed woman who is desperately trying to achieve her dream but time is running out fast and she's just destroying her body in the process.
