when someone has cancer, is it "appropriate" to say "get well soon"?
especially if the prognosis is bad

cheers. i have autism so i don't know how to function in serious situations like these

they recently discovered a relapse and today got in ER due to a complication

i will be visiting at the hospital

it's an old immunotherapy protocol where a patient is injected with a multi-bacterial vaccine
the dead bacteria cannot cause harm, but the immune system doesn't know they're dead so it becomes stimulated and body fever increases; cancer dies as collateral damage

but i don't know how an average person would go on to try such a thing
and she (my aunt) has already gotten chemotherapy, which probably means the immune system will not be working for a couple of months
