no its overwork, social alienation from suburban housing projects with no amenities nearby, poor people being priced out of socialising with each other by high prices and low wages, and fast food entertainment (which includes the internet and 4chan btw) allowing people to distract themselves from their own isolation and alienation from not just the opposite sex but from the rest of the human race. in fact, it's in the active interests of elites to push mindless mass media and alienate the population because it means people won't complain about these circumstances, or draw links between economic, material conditions and their own eternal bitchlessness
