My method of checking if my comments were still there is worse than yours because I'd just log into a separate YouTube account, go to the same vid and try to search for my comment. What you said is way better and easier. And yeah, there are also these shadowbans on there, I've experienced that too. I've been permanently banned on YouTube three times already and those have been my main accounts. I did make a copy of my playlists but still, losing them sucked
