I'm a orthodox christian and I think his statement is on point. Even more it shows how shallow and contrarian leftists are.
I followed the arguments of all this religious posts as of late and realised most people use the machinations of a few corrupt people to prove a whole religion is bad/ made up/ etc.
I personally think every religion has its own right to exist. You can worship whatever fits your needs ( see the meme religion of Pastafarianism ).

Nobody is ever going to follow the religious text to the letter, not even Orthodox people who are rotted in tradition do this . Even less for corrupt priests or similar people of faith that have lost their way.
