So the inspector I talked about yesterday was actually responding to a complaint that was filed. He goes around local areas and checks if businesses are up to government code but he admitted himself that inspectors like him are severely understaffed and it could potentially take years before they come visit a specific business. Unless said business gets priority for one reason or another. The owner of the store said to me that he had phone calls trying to get him to sell his shop and suspicious looking people visiting. The inspector also that the complaint filed may have been from an unknown rival business since that is also not that uncommon an occurrence.
