Department of Public Safety troopers recently seized close to half a million dollars from an 18-wheeler during a commercial vehicle safety inspection, according to the DPS Facebook page.

On Monday, May 2, a trooper conducted a traffic stop on Highway 281 to conduct a commercial vehicle safety inspection. The trooper documented numerous safety equipment violations to include an expired license plate.
