>hear loud high pitched meowing near window
>see that a bird saw the kittens and started pecking them
>immediately scared off the bird
>went outside to see if anything worse happened
>see that 2 are already dead and one is meowing in pain with blood in its mouth
>try to help in some way
>*kitten dies in hands*
>*cries myself to sleep*
