Please tell me if I'm correct in this. People don't seem to care about board etiquette anymore and I think I've figured out why. Please tell me if I'm wrong...
Back in the day, if someone were to say "Sup /b" or "Sup b", they would be bombarded with replies saying "What the fuck is /b (b)?" Now people treat it like it's normal and acceptable. I think I've discovered the 2 primary reasons why people do this (each one with it's own respective reason).
"/b" = reddit poster. I think this comes because reddit pages often label themselves as r/someshit. So, when these faggots come here they just remove the "r" before the board letter/word
"b" = phoneposter. Typing the slashes on a phone often requires going to a separate keyboard, and since phoneposters are inherently lazy and contribute nothing of value to the board, they just skip this step when posting.
Does this seem correct?
