I listened to this podcast where they talked about that film for 8 hours but there is some version of the film where you can see the bottom of the guy's feet and they are obviously fake
but they do say that there are elements of the suit that are way beyond what other ape suits a the time were capable of doing
I think there is something weird about the whole thing. There is some kind of superstructure almost entirely beyond our comprehension that is bolted on to this reality or we are hanging off it or something.
