>>15235160well it wasn't anime but manga first for me. I was a huge reader back in middle school, always won the award for most books read every year.
I would always be at the library, and i would read a lot. books, comics, anything that looked interesting.
i found Yotsuba& one day after reading Scott Pilgrim, and it looked pretty interesting. then i found more interesting manga, then eventually i got into Bleach, and from there I found the anime.
now i mostly watch anime and play games, haven't really read for some time. but i still collect manga that looks interesting, maybe one day i'll read them
