>>15244412I don't think there is anything wrong with SystemD I did an OpenRC install before because I felt like it and it worked about as well as my SystemD one but it was more of a pain to setup.
>>15244620> Isn't ubuntu already free?... but thanksUbuntu has binary blobs (proprietary) in its kernel and it has proprietary software in its repos. When I talk about free think free as in free speech not free as in free beer. Free software is Software that allows you to run, inspect, edit, and share the software for any reason. You can read more about it on
gnu.org if you want. Ubuntu is available at no charge but some of the software in it is proprietary. Sometimes people call free software "open source" which almost refers to the same type of software.
> Could you elaborate on the Spyware part?> And I tried mint, it just feels/looksOne version (14.something if I remember) of Ubuntu had it so it would send all of your searches to amazon by default. Even if you weren't looking for something on the internet. They made the feature opt-in after a large amount of backlash. I am not sure if it has any other spyware in it but I haven't spent much time looking.
