>>15243278yes i have potatoes nearly every day. i get ones called rooster potatoes. I have potatoes a few different ways. Most every day it is peeled, boiled, mashed and salt and pepper and butter put in. Some days i steam potatoes keeping the skin, and have them on my plate with salt and butter.
two nice tasting ways but i dont have alot are champ and colcannon. champ is when you put in the mashed potatoes chopped spring onions. that is nice.
colcannon is when you mix in cabbage or cabbage and young nettles. thats what my great granny did with nettles but its not done anymore i never seen it. i wish i could try it. it is just done cabbage now. but i like champ much more. but also normal mashed potatoes since they are nice.
sometimes when i have leftover potatoes i can make potato cakes or fried potatoes they are very nice things.
