I have to go back to work on Monday. It is always bittersweet. On one hand, I will miss lounging around and doing nothing. On the other hand, I typically have fun at work and enjoy shooting the bull with my coworkers. Work is my only social outlet, as I have never had any friends outside of school/work since I was in middle school. Because of that, playing cards at lunch, and laughing at the jokes of my coworkers means a lot to me. They even treat me like I am one of the gang, which is welcome as I am used to being a social outcast. Plus I love the drive to work and eating my cookies while cruising on the freeway.
Honestly, without work my life would be much worse. I know this because I have experienced it many times. I become depressed, use too much drugs, and don't do anything.
