For what it's worth, when I passed my test I had 7 minor faults. 3 of them were double minor faults too so I'd have failed if I'd had another of any of them. At least that's how it worked then.
To be honest I was a shit driver and I think the only reason I passed was because I was a bit older than most people are doing driving test (former poorfag) and also because I was calm, careful (to a fault I suppose) and clearly in control of myself despite not being perfect at things like conspicuous mirror checks before pressing the brake pedal etc.
You'll figure it out lad, get pissed up tonight, let this failure go and book another one in. Be careful on roundabouts next time. You only have to pass once.
Funny story, I moved for work soon after passing the test and soon made a lot of new friends. They were all from much wealthier backgrounds than me and had been driving since they were kids. They would take the piss out of me for being a shit driver and to be honest they were right. But I still had the licence and the only time I ever got in an accident was years later when I was a confident driver, running late for work and being an impatient tit on an unfamiliar road.
