i don't know why Saturn is hexagonal, but I do know nature really loves 5 and 6-membered ring structures in chemistry because the bond angles have an optimal amount of ring strain. not sure how this relates to weather system though

It's ice.
Ice can form square, hexagonal, octagonal and any other bilaterally symmetric shape, if the entire structure is at the same temperature.
This has to do with the atomic structure of water when it freezes, which makes it such that it's much easier to latch on to an uneven surface and make it even, than it is to latch onto an even surface to make it uneven.

I.E, the absence of matter between two points of matter can expand faster than the speed of light.

6 storms going around the pole. Round shapes create hexagonal shapes when they connect to each other. Like if you were to blow 7 soap bubbles 6 in a ring around the 7th center one, this would make the center bubble into a hexagon. Also a similar process to what makes those stone hex shapes like giant's causeway or whatever it's called, and also honeycomb.

Oxford tries to explain it with fluid dynamics, but the synchronicity with its radio emissions is to me a pretty sure-fire bet it's got something to do with electromagneticism, gas clouds probably get ionised by all that movement and then interact with the electrical and magnetic fields of the planet. Weird this isn't included in the list of possible explanations.
