>>15278432that's a good point.. for me the 386 and 486 were like a breathe taken before jumping off a cliff into some super advanced future. the pentium 90 specifically hit me like that, along with windows 3.1 and 95. i also went from commodore 64 and nintendo to 486 and super nintendo.. then 3d cards happened.. the changes were so dramatic and fast. i remember legit debates about whether 1000mhz desktop processors were even possible, lol.. it was a common debate in gaming magazines like pc games and pc gamer. i think electronic gaming monthly even touched that subject in passing a few times.
not to mention the internet, mindspring, aol, http web browsers and .com's, dial up bbs's with mush style colors and links..damn, the 90's were kind of awesome
