i have a few chickens and ducks so they hatch sometimes.
i never really did anything, they just hatch on their own, the mother looks after the eggs. But it's good to have straw or something there so they can make a nest for the eggs otherwise the eggs might just be in the dirt.
also have shelter because other birds like to rob eggs from them
the egg is always the same runny but duck eggs are bigger than the chicken ones. i like the duck eggs.
when i cook them i have the yolk where it is starting to go hard, but still really runny and if you cut the egg it pours out. that is my favourite because it tastes nice. i used to prefer hard eggs until a few years ago since i was turned off by the look of the yolks but now i like them
