blighttown wasn't that bad, had a worse time in tomb of the giants because instead of cheesing it I actually fought all the skeles in the dark

that fucking poison dart shooter in blighttown gave me an ulcer tho

yes, obviously the area is easier if you skip 70% of it, but that's no fun at all. blightown isnt a bad area, if you put aside the framerate issues on console.

the masterkey shortcut just leads to valley of drakes, then go past the ogres and decend into the swamp part of blightown. i think you're thinking of the bonfire in the middle of upper blighttown, which you normally access from the depths
