I give up.
Leftists in America: you've won.
I picked a small insignificant European country (Portugal), move here and will spend the rest of my life building a small comfy family with my wife.
Before I got on the plane, I felt sorrow, as if I was turning my back on this great, amazing thing I wanted my whole life.
When I got off the plane, I realized that the small, humble and quiet life I'm about to live, will be infinitely better than what I left.
So there you go. Your cities are riddled with crime you refuse to acknowledge. Any kind of value/moral was destroyed, and the political class you vehemently support are running corruption circles that would make the Italian mafia blush.
You won. Take it. It's all yours. The statues, the minorities, all the property you wished to redistribute. You get your beloved San Fran, and your Silicon Valley.
It's right there, for the taking. There were 5 other American friends of mine on that flight, two are bound of the south of France, none of us is coming back.
My only regret was that I should have done this long ago. The first time a friend mentioned he was jumping ship, I should have come with him.
But no, I endured, because I believed things couldn't be this bad.
Then I was mugged, and the mugger was released on street with no bail. My son comes home with a used condom that the teacher presented to his class, and after I reviewed a work colleague of Indian descent as "good worker, but lacks native English language making meetings really hard" HR demanded to see me.
So farewell, and thanks for all the... you know what, nothing. I don't think I gained nothing in 30 years living in America.
So fuck you.
PS: I left a 30k college debt there. Hope your UBI covers it, because I ain't fucking paying that shit, lol.
