They have a suede coat that's exactly what I've been looking for, but it's $700. They've angling for high-premium placement when they'd sell more just going for mid-premium. These are still well short of true luxury prices. Take this coat and throw a Tom Ford label on it and it jumps to 5k, and that's what the Asians want. We live in this crazy space where marketers aren't looking at their own demographic data and are trying to manifest the world they want. Salaries are flat even in the high-premium marketplace and luxury scales like Cookie Clicker and for them half the fun is saying I spent $20k on a coat that's worth $500. Strange times.
