For instance Azazel in the game GTA V is the character Trevor - he lives by the sea because he's the Beast from the Sea, he is skilled in combat because Azazel taught mankind the arts of warfare as well, and he is constantly associated with clowns. There's an entire mission which is just him being attacked by clowns. If you take Trevor to the Templar Hotel the bums there will occasionally greet him with "The Prince of Clowns walks among us" or "Hi Mr Balloon Animal Man!" which they don't do for any other of the characters.
Azazel is also, of course, the Joker in the Batman universe. This was admitted by one of the creators who said he was based on the Antichrist.
Azazel is also Capt Jack Sparrow, hence the kohl-rimmed eyes, and also why he was worshipped as a god in one of the sequels, just as the fallen angels were worshipped as gods in the Book of Enoch.
You're seeing more clowns now because Freemasons are ushering in the NWO or the Age of Horus (who is Azazel's equivalent in the Egyptian pantheon). Chaos is coming.
