Even liberal Mainichi newspaper poll shows 76% approval for budgetary boost and 66% approval for possession of strike capabilities, and on Nikkei, prestigious economic newspaper with educated subscriber base, 55% approve more than 2% GDP spendings, and so on. Seriously I've never seen a situation like this. Russia unironically managed to put the final nail in the coffin of the "Post-WW2 regime" in Japan, BTFOing those pretentious pacifism preachers.
