mistake found. those are the only drives that have failed on me. get an external ssd next time :)
or better yet, get the external-case and ssd separately like I did, so you can always connect it directly to the motherboard if you feel like it

That's what I have, it's an easystore. Didn't know there was a difference between an external drive and external ssd I accidentally smashed it when I was trying to slam my fist down on my desk.
