That's called a healthy survival instinct.

But. You could just as easily die in your sleep. Of an aneurysm, or premature stroke/heart attack. Not to mention the fact that if you're never going anywhere and living a sedentary lifestyle, it drastically cuts down on your life span, so does loneliness and smoking.

Driving becomes second nature, but I'm always aware that I can only control the actions of my car and not of those around me. If you afraid to drive...don't. its as easy as that.

I wish it was that easy, so many places i need to go is ridiculously far and women want nothing to do with you if you can't drive. I'm taking a drivers course now. Just looking at the manual makes me jittery.
