>>15415398You won't beat the game right away at the beginning. It will take a time and some grinding until you face the last boss. If you start with a difficult game like Subterranean Animism you will probably spend too much time grinding than to enjoy the game.
I hope you have a good keyboard with high rollover or a controller. I suggest you remap your keyboard if you want to play with a keyboard. Set "<" to be the shoot button, "Y" to shoot and "X" to bomb. Those would be Z, X and C on an american keyboard (Idk I don't really use remappers). A keyboard with a too low rollover can also block you from even getting diagonal movement in. Trust me, it was what prevented me from getting into the games too for a long time. Just use a controller for simplicity.
